new logo design... your thoughts
I'm currently working with an audio visual company to create a new overall identity - beginning with the logo. The colour and font was their choice, plus they've insisted that the Ltd part goes on - which I had originally tried to get them to shy away from. Let me know what you think. |

Are you sure there isnt a way to stop them from using Helvetica? The logo is a bit static and clinical; it also sort of looks like elevator buttons. I feel like you could go a more energetic route, because, while what you have isn't entirely devoid of movement, it just sort of sits there being fragile and twig-like. I want to step on it or crack it between my fingers. But you did well not going the obvious and cliche route by using sound waves or something. Just my personal take, of course. |

Thanks for this, Unfortunately, I did a few versions of this logo with different typefaces and they went for that one. Like i said before, they're adament they also want the 'ltd' part on there, but if i suggest that this will be lost at small sizes they might want to drop it. |

I don't hate the logo with Helvetica, but I would've prefered them to use one of the others i sent them. Helvetica has, I admit, been done to death but that doesn't mean we should stop using it. Maybe i'll take your advice next time, or just never send anything out done in that particular font! |
