why?

I'm glad the ugly symbol didn't make it onto wacom tablets, I wonder if this will make it to the copiers...

The type treatment isn't terrible, but the mark is just plain aweful!

It's a Danish beachball. Very poor design, obviously the result of many committees!

Hehe they were meant to be about to give us the new brand when I last worked on something for them at my old place, thats a year ago So that's at least a year of committees.

I hate the beachball, but everything else feels like a huge overdue leap forward, their old branding was utterly dire.

design by committee always makes me laugh... the Mark does look like an after thought next to the type!

This is what makes me laugh. FFS. That's not a ball btw, it's flat like a shirt button.

the dark red to lighter red gradient is centred, whilst the light comes from top right. the clash between light and shadow makes it look flat (under the x)

Ah my bad, I have an aversion to reading press releases about branding by the companies themselves, it's full of so much ego stroking and gibberish it's usually very painful

Sounds it too, you can animate a ball, good rationale I have to admit. *cough*feeble*cough*
