Vector version of my logo

Hi,

I know you guys dont have much time for freework but I figured I would ask anyway, you never know if someones feeling generous or someone has some time and could benefit from the practice.

I am not very skilled with vector drawing and so was wandering if there was someone who might be willing to create a vector version of my logo ? I could possibly give something in return, what would make you happy ? (other than cash, as that isnt really an option).

my logo can be found at: Benshu // Webdesigner Portfolio - Switzerland - HTML, PHP, CSS

thanks

this is not an offer to do it but why is your site riddled with fake content at the top?

portfolio design website webdesign siteweb php html css dynamic dynamique catalog catalogue forum ecommerce eshop webshop etc etc etc

its quite apparent despite you trying to hide it by trying to use the same background colour.

I dont find that its that noticable, probably depends on screen contrast, brightness and other influences. Of course if the image for the background doesnt load, then it is visible.

to answer your question, I added that to help getting noticed in search engines. I am currently working on a new design of my site and will probably no longer have that text there anymore.

Yes it's a fast track to getting black listed by google, tremendous.

It doesn't overly look like you're going to get any offers for this, maybe it's time to get some practice and try doing it yourself, I'm sure folks would be happier to advise you on how to refine it as you work on it, rather than just do it for free.

On a brand new 22" widey it's even more visible than the diagonal stripings; not just top, but at the bottom too, and I've got sane monitor settings. - Dunno about CRTs, but it's probably not invisible there either..

But your point was, perhaps, to remove it once it's done, or what?

Couldn't agree more with Maerk. Search engines these days filter out stupid tricks like 'invisible' content (although in your case it's not that well hidden) and may ban you from their index altogether. I'd remove it, fast.

You say you don't have much ability with vectors? Well here's a perfect opportunity to learn. It's not a client job, so you can take your time over it and do it when you have a few spare minutes; and it's a relatively simple design, so it would make a good practice exercise. How are you ever going to learn if you just get someone else to do it?

yes, working on it. Its no longer needed, and as was pointed out, may make me go on the blacklist of google, so its time to fix that up.

thanks to all comments, they have been useful although a bit off topic , I guess I will work on my vector skills and try myself.
