Am confused as to why you've put it in a textured box with vignette - just distracts from it.

There's not really much I can think to say on it, it's very simple and that colour sweep will be a nightmare to try and recreate in print if you ever have business cards.

At the moment it doesn't feel like a logo but I suppose it depends how you apply it to everything.

the color streak could be a bit more visible, possibly a bit larger, as the logo is Koloration, but is mostly black.

drop the nasty photoshop bg!

logo reminds me of kadak for some reason.. might be some box artwork for kadacolor film or something. not necessarily a bad thing of course! just what i thought when i saw it.

Find a visually more interesting and pleasing typeface, simplify the colour band and off you go, nice and decent logo.

it looks quite ok, but there could be few problems with the "rainbow" colors - mainly saturation as cmyk doesn't have so wide color's spectrum

What's the brief?

Here's a tip - when displaying design ideas don't add the fluff. If a logo is good, it will work without it, so lose the vignette/textures.

I quite like the typeface chosen; modern and simple. Agree about colour, you might need to take it further to get a good representation cross media.

Limbo its Myriad Pro Bold - awfully overused and the only good aspects are wide character sets and decent kerning with metrics switched to optical.

ok, i wont show logos with fluff anymore :-p

i chose myriad because it was the font i thought went best with the color streak

in cmyk, the colors aren't quite as vibrant, but they still look pretty good in my opinion.
