You do realise it is also slang for an obscure and illegal sexual practice?

Oh and is it sotus-podi or sotu-spodi (pronunciation wise)?

Thanks. And about the true pronunciation, I'm lil foggy as Sanskrit is a very complex language. S o t u s - p o d i is the right candidate perhaps. Sotus(?)=Four... Paad=Leg. When combined it becomes S o t u s p o d i i.e. Four legged. Very complex as Multiple letters combine to form single letters.

Frenz, See my terrific artistic skill!! I have created my "S o t u s p o d i" Mascot. BTW what u see in the dogs face is my attempt to create a naughty smile/grin(like what we see in some cartoons).

I am adding story of a sick Dog I treated in my 'still very much under construction' website. U can see that if u want to.

The website does not have any ads etc. Clean. So I suppose it is not SPAM.

Can I dare to ask someone gifted with artistic skill from my DesignersTalk community to draw a similar mascot for me. For free off-course, because I am really poor. I will give more than enough credit in my new website. Money too when I have them. I too used to be a good artist. But my years of Arm-wrestling ruined all .

I am completely and utterly confused. Is this some grand elaborate joke?

I think it's great that you help sick dogs.

I would help with the logo if I had the time - but alas I am far too busy.

Here's a very slightly cleaned up version of your current hand drawn logo... In a way I think it is pretty cute as it is... even though that dog has a rather long arm(/paw).. is that the arm-wrestling again?

Thank u a lot for cleaning up my logo. I would appreciate if u r able to do my logo. Anything u want against that except money however :-).

I tried to draw teeth in the Dog's mouth. The situation here is.. "Animals always trick human with their cuteness, wagging tails, cute eyes etc etc. The Dog in the logo is communicating this with its grin -- "See How I am fooling this Boy. He takes care of me, feeds me, scratches me, massages me. What I do in return? Just wag my tails.. that's all."

I saw this particular grin in a cartoon series. That's cartoon show has a man(always trying to harm others) wearing hat with a dog(usually wears a muffler) as constant companion/steward.

I hope u understand what I try to say.

Arm wrestling? Perhaps yes. I have a long Right hand and the Dog a long Left hand. Great observation. I will not change this anomaly.

Ha ha. I commend ur observation skills. On the serious side, Dogs usually have a lil different texture on its belly. I tried to draw that.

I just tried to build a Brand identity with an awkward 'name' and 'mascot' for a social cause. I was not sure and hence sought ur comments. Suggestions just keeps pouring in. Thanks to u too.

Yes all this feedback which is unanimous which you're ignoring.

Forum ethics?

Seriously has to be a joke, although it's not funny

I am simply responding to all the messages truthfully. Being trained and thrashed in an army academy for sometime, which taught us to always respond to a call whether in positive or negative.

Yeah Forum ethics bear a ? here. But I might offend someone as I started this thread and it is just going long and long.

** Edit: U do have a nice visiting card. Saw in ur site.

A long thread doesn't offend.

And if you are a real person - well congratulations on receiving so much negative feedback without being upset by it, it's a good trait.

But it's a bad trait to completely discount everything everyone is saying when a lot here are already professionals with considerable expertise and experience in the field...

So u r the Mod! Atleast my thread now resides inside the right forum section.

I didn't find anything offending here. A lil -ve is ok. Flamming is also ok. After all we r a community with varied viewpoints.

Only true -ve feedback here is about 'disastrous business idea'. But I look at the social essence of my firm; Disastrous from business angle is no deterrent. 'Do Gooder' has given very nice support. I am joining him. He do some very good work with his firm.
