Got passed this in work today, all i could do was laugh

"Logo to be designed:

A sun, with lotus petal shaped sunbeams, with a spiral in the centre, with the word ‘Inspiration’ spiralling out from it’s centre.

The colour of the logo should be sunset yellow & golden, pinks and oranges, with the writing in maroon.

‘Behind’ the image, a hazy / glowing background, as if the image has a halo!"

What the hell does this woman want?

And it is not thier job to figure it out. They must tell you what results they want, i.e. what reactions to the end product. And it is your job - as a professional - to figure out, what will create such a result/reaction.

kwillis - this sounded as an ex client of mine he needed a logo for o chinese restaurant and told me he wanted a lotus flower and a ying yang symbol somehow. dont 3 drafts and he didn't like any of them. at the second meeting he sugested that I should draw a dragon and a snake around the ying yang symbol, moment when I said adios amigo and got the hell out of there.

She needs you to tell her, visually, that inspiration needs different colors to express itself....see if she gets that.
