how much to charge for logo redesign for multinational company????

I have been asked to redesign a logo for a large company's annual international survey, but though I know what to charge for average SME type company, I'm not sure what price range to give them so I don't look like i normally deal with small fry..

any ideas lads?

You also will have to provide a Brand guildline.

Quite a bit of work so anything from 8k mate.
You can buy the round later.

Logos involve far more work than most people think. I personally cant stand doing it and I'm also not very good at logo design from scratch.

I reckon JapanMik aint far off though. Have you worked with this company before? If so are they big tippers? Then use that to gauge the cost + do they have nice cars and carpet. Thats always a good judge of how much they spend

hmm, i'm not sure if they want to spend that much, but I'll keep tight lipped during the meeting tomorrow, and see just how much involvement they want - they seem to like the quick and dirty (not graphic wise ) approach to jobs - I don't think they'll need a brand guideline as such, as the logo would be a sub division of thier current identity, just for an annual survey they do - we'll I'll offer them the full caboodle and see which bits they want i guess..

Set the price high and gauge their reaction dosen't sound like you're pitching up against anyone else so all they can say is "HOW MUCH!" and you come to a compramise.

I went in with a mad price for a job a while back because I wasn't to keen on working with the company but I still wanted to show willing. So i well over cost the job and they looked at the propasal and just signed it off with a big YES!
