I know it's hard to make BP seem like something unique (due to bp petro and such). Do you like this logo? Any suggestions if you don't care for it?

I was going for simple... and I dig grey

I think it depends on how you are going to design the other elements around it. It's certainly simple, and could work a treat if the execution is right...

I actually was headed in the pink direction... something about pink and grey sits well with me. Thanks for the input. I will mess around with it and post any revisions.

try reflecting the p or b and realigning them on vertical/horizontal axis

Limbo, I like two on the lower left. Might look nice with my full name on the right of the horz reflection. I'll have to try to find a font that fits... i drew the original shape.

aye - could see that - just thought you stems were odd looking...

I'd choose a typeface to compliment the forms you have rather than trying to force on into that style. Quite right though - big and simple kite mark with some nice type along side will look great.
