Need Logo Designed...for $
Hi All, I posted my "fotomango.com" logo in another thread and that got shot down. So, I am willing to pay (not much since I am starting out) $50 for a logo that my wife and I like. I am not sure if this is how it is done around here, but just curious. The site is fotomango.com and myfotomango.com. I am presuming the "my" would be just added so that is why I am not considering these as two logos. It is for Coffee Table albums that we have started designing. Wedding is one area we focus on, but we also design kids albums and so on. We do not want any associations with that per se. The logo needs to be more "trendy, unique, eye-catching and overall should give a feeling of "wow". Again no restrictions as to having to follow the whole business line and all. Just creative. If something is wrong in me asking this here, please let me know. |

I imagine you should ask in the employment forum but dunno will see what a mod says. $50 really isn't very much for reference, if it takes a day (lets call a day 8 hours) to make it, you're looking at paying 6.25 dollars an hour, and if there's any revisions it goes even lower... Even cheap online done in a day logo services don't drop that low I think. As for it being "just adding a word" well if that's your brief then sure it can be a logo plus a tiny bit extra text, it could be a totally seperate icon/logo style though. |

even do yourself online logos cost twice that: http://www.logoyes.com/ . Although if you can't find anyone, that's probably not a bad service for you. |

Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but you can use this. Based on a concept I did a while ago that never got to see the light of day. Freelance Brighton | Design Agency Brighton | Twitter | Linkedin | Plurk

take a look at www.sitepoint.com and there is a forum section for design contests, teh minimum for a logo is 100$ + some for starting the thread/contest but I can assure you that you will find something you like. Even I participate sometimes when Im bored as hell and want to puke @ all the web2.0 logos, especially mine |

Sub, I like your idea. Will show to wife. Would it be easy for you to add colors to that? Centro, I am grateful...and I am not another sponger as you say. I wouldn't have made this thread if I didn't think you all were right in your critiques. I appreciated that and that is why I decided to trash my logo and just ask for help. Plus I do not want it for free...willing to pay($50 maybe low, but it is still money). I mention in the first post that I am not sure if I am doing this right...so just relax and don't think everyone is out to take advantage and not give back. I will look at everyone's consideration. |
