Because life's not complicated enough...
I no longer work for Abbey National. I now work for Abbey. Apparently. Huge rebrand launch today paid for by outsourcing all the work to India. Anyone seen the new ads yet? Very modern. Very transparent(in more ways than one). The chief exec is making an effort by not wearing a tie. bless. Logo comes in all kinds of wacky colours. That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch.

Are you serious? That can't be the new logo!! That is terrible. i've seen some dodgy make overs before - BT, BP - but the transparent soft edges, hideous colours, no no time to move my mortage. O ya way to brand a site - http://www.abbeynational.com/ logo (new or old) anyone... feel the heat.

wow that is horrid.... and you're serious? that logo would be absolutely brutal to put on anything besides web or video...*anything* print would be a huge pain the ass to put it on...wow....you should've got them to pay me the extraordinary amounts of money they got for that cuz I could've done something much better and it would pay for all my schoolin' bills ;P audentes fortuna iuvat

They've gone fucking barmy. Managers have been told to put swear boxes on their desks for teams. Questionable words are can't, won't and don't. Posters up everywhere with just Everyone Can written on them. Everyone can what!? We've had a corporate video playing all day on the tvs with the music from American Beauty. Lugman Arnold (Chief Exec) is currently bench pressing, smoking his neighbours dope while listening to Pink Floyd - mesmerised by his own fucking logo. No shit it's been a strange day. I've been expecting an E4 camera crew to pop out from behind the coffee machine asking for permission to broadcast. That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch.
