Sorry to drag an old thread back up, but I haven't been paying attention, is this new Abbey logo (steaming turd) completely replacing the faded logo? Or is it just for certain areas of Abbey's business?

Replacing.
Good article in design week.

Bit of a piss take really as the same company are implementing the changes.
Lucky them.

I got to quite like the old "funky" logo. I love my lime green Delta Visa. The new logo is just to corporate and dull Looks like one of those fluffy rabit slippers to me, guess that says more about me doesn't it.

the source of the steaming donkey turd - Abbey's new owners http://www.gruposantander.com/

makes a bit more sense now... but still, not really worth a £multi-million rebrand

totally mental

Ha ha ha 'El Grupo Santander'

I'm getting into the branding business pronto...do a brand review, talk some shit about values, placement & vision and then fire off a powerpoint and pdf file with some pithy quotes, pantone references, a typeface, a gash logo and you're away...I'll only charge the client 50k for doing it too.

Laughing all the way to the bank
