I kind of liked the previous one better.

Tatally agree. Although it'd probably need to be seen with the overall brand style usage to see where they are going with it. I'd be interested to see how they arrived at using the 'Joey' looking face.

The "d" does resemble a roll of film viewed from above...

I prefer the old one.

dont mind the typeface. But the yellow lines? The old one is iconic the new one is far from it

Well...it is different. I probably would've focused on the, "K," everyone knows the name. subcircle is right, though - I'd like to see their use for it.

I think the new logo is a LOT better. In this digital age they sure needed a refresh to that vintage-film-looking logo. When I look at the old one I imagine spider webs surrounding it. It was good 50 years ago, not today. They should have redesigned it a longe time ago

When I first saw the logo, my first thoughts was that it looked like the guys who designed the logo, ran out of ideas and threw some text together, styled the d, and added to lines.

Although, the more I look at it, the more it's really grown on me. I liked the old logo, and probably would have kept some of the old elements (I loved the yellow K like design in the red box). I just think it'll be weird seeing the new logo instead of the old.

It's always weird to accept something new, the brain needs to adapt specially when it comes to design.
