heraldic logo
Making a logo for a company but feel like its uncomplete... can't really put my finger on whats missing. The name is translated to shoefactory(strange name since they have absolutely nothing to do with shoes) thus the shoe is part factory. All feedback is appreciated |

like it the wittiest bit is the factory inside the shoe but it's getting lost with the crazy busy background - put a little more blank space around the shoe i.e a bigger shield i think these type of crests look better as portrait rather than landscape you could ove the rtibbon down a bit and make it swirl a bit like this http://www.thetreemaker.com/images/709-find-crest.jpg |

This design is so far beyond anything I'm familiar with that I have nothing to suggest. We just don't DO things like that in 2008. Eller? My free fonts www.utfi.net

I think the factory in a trainer is a cool/original idea. all the other stuff around it is also really nice looking but it seems too much for a logo...anyone else agree? the mouse bugs me - the logo feels symetrical, but then the mouse on the left throws it off. crazy design. nice! |

Waaaaaay to many details... if the logo is scaled down, all those details will disappear and it will just look like a mess. And when you print this logo, minor print mistakes such as ink pooling together, can screw it all up quite easy... When doing heraldics there is a lot of details, but try to keep it more simple. You obviously have some skill, but this logo seems more as an attempt to show this skill, rather than creating something which would actually work.... Always remember to test your logo in a small scale aswell, when you are designing... |

I did go abit to crazy with the background as the logo will (probably)never be printed since its for a website. Still a work in progress tho so thank you for all the comments they were really helpful. Much appreciated. Will post the final result for your amusement when it goes live |

Yea that's the problem...it works as an illustration (I can easily see it as a poster or part of a shirt) but not a logo. |

Great Idea! Just simplify it. Make the shield bigger like suggested and take some of the clutter out. Most of it has to do with the overlapping items. You definitely have something for a promotion piece. |
