my obsession with lines + design / artwork

now i have posted in typography about my map series... but my big obsession is line illustration... i just cant help myself.. i feel compelled by un-known forces to make these drawing as time consuming as they are.. they consume my life..and my every thought!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

where is a LAA (line adicts anonymous) when you need one?

this one can be downloaded from my flickr site as a wallpaper for the computer.. fits my 21inch mac screen quite well. this is part of a bigger image that can be seen on my flickr site int he set..all i c in lines.

This one below took me about 130 hours and the hands are to scale of real hands.. done as all three of these are using caligrahy ink pot and caligraphy dip pen.

and yea another line canvass ahhhhh...AHHHH HELP ME!

loads more on my flickr site..

I know someone doing this on large painted canvasses, as a background to her (surrealist) painting work. Can be quite stylish at times

I love doing this type of thing, especially for drawing hair. It's very relaxing too, like a kind of meditation. Looks good!
