Needing guidance

Hey there, as you can guess i am new here and i was wondering if people could share their favourite illustrators with me. Specifically black and white ones. I am just starting out on an illustrator course and there is so much to look at i thought i'd ask you guys for some advice. Hope you can stop to help me out, Cheers. ![]() |

Steve Simpson Illustration Not B&W, but one of my favourites. Especially since he done an excellent drawing for my friend's stag a few years ago. |

what kind of illustration are you looking for? kids/graphic novel type stuff..?/ commercial? this is one of the best illustration sites out there. I check it every day...lots of new stuff here > Drawn! The Illustration and Cartooning Blog |

this guy works for house industries - some nice black and white illustrations here> chris gardner art graphic novel stuff I like adrien tomine. I think the artwork from Tekkonkinkreet is friggin amazing PingMag - The Tokyo-based magazine about “Design and Making Things” » Archive » Making Taiyo Matsumoto’s “Tekkon Kinkreet” into anime and I think Gez Fry is a very talented individual gezfry.com - online gallery I've got lots of illustrations here as refs.
