Well to briefly summarise - its for a game in which a young boy awakens and has no idea who he is and where he is. As he awakens a bright light ascends upon him and beckons him to follow. This then leads you to various levels in which you must over come obstacles a lot like Samorost. I tried to create a moody, dark atmosphere to the beginning scenes of the game and then as you progress through the game the scenes become more peacful and beautiful as night turns to day and you reach the end goal - to find home . Do you think these illustrations portray this? I'm a university student so im still trying to perfect my techniques and skills so constructive critism and pointers would be great. |

yeah i definately agree they no where near the calibre of samorost, but i am not trying to style the game like samorsot - the interactive element is meant to be similar to samorost. Each scene took about 3 hours to make and this was for a ten credit module at uni so I wasnt able to put in a lot of time into each scene. |
