quicktime load probs

hello.

I'm having a bit of trouble with my quicktimes.
see here http://www.lomodome.com/motion.html
when you click on the pop ups for both 'reel small' and 'reel large' it takes friggin ages for them to load up. (it does appear eventually)
They're only 11mb and 22mb, should be able to play them without too much waiting around??

It seems to wait until the entire movie is loaded before it plays and I'd prefer it to stream. (the grey bar visibly filling up)
At the moment, the code is just basic >>

<embed src="mov/low.mov" width="320" height="256" BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF"></embed>

and I've tried other variations for embedding the QT including all this stuff on here>
http://www.sonoma.edu/it/websupport/faq/qtdw.html
..nae luck. Still takes ages to load and won't 'stream'
any ideas?

thanks gray. I had a quick look at that article. I know I mentioned 'streaming' but all I want is for the quicktime to load up like these>> (and a lot of the links are dead on that article anyway)

http://www.apple.com/ipod/ads/rollerskating/

the way the grey loader bar is still loading the movie, but you get to watch the start. thats what I want.
I don't think these ipod examples are set up for streaming mentioned in the article. they are just regular QTS

That big one is 7.1 mb and it loads up well quick. My 11mb small reel takes bloody ages.

yeah maybe it is the server.
my hosting company is based in the UK, and I'm experiencing slow connection/downloads over here in Canada. I think this could be something to do with it??

but if you guys in the UK are also getting slow downloads from the site?
When you click on the links, how long do they take to load up from the UK?
