Straaaaange IE5 behavior...

This is something I've never seen.

Check http://www.patpaints.net/dev/art.php in IE5. Not 5.5, works fine there.

Now, when you mouse over the thumbnails...they jump down the page infinitely!

This is insane and I had a good laugh, but anyone recognize this behavior? Got a solution?

have you tried shifting the float, width, etc from the anchor onto the li itself?

also, do this at the top of ur css

* {
margin: 0; padding: 0;
}

saves a lot of space

Nice one. I should have thought of that. Will edit the file right now...and try switching floats, widths, etc. to the <li>s instead...

It worked...after much testing...obnoxious cascade...

Anyway, IE5/5.5 have lost the pretty padding around the thumbnails, but no problem - it's useable now.

Thanks, cam.
