I have a simple button-based sliding menu for which the actionscript is very simple and works fine in isolation.

To make it a bit more interesting I've added a layer in which a white block fades out and moves across to reveal the aforementioned images. The script for the 'fade and move across' also works fine in isolation, but when they are thrown together the buttons fail to work.

Can anybody please help, bearing in mind that I realise that there are simple non-actionscript ways of doing this, but need to keep the file lightweight.

I cant upload the file because its 1k too big. I can mail it to anyone who thinks they can help.

I think one of the functions crushes another.
Do you use some fuck as an onEnterFrame ?
