what should Bush do with his hands? Heeelp...
Hi there I am not a caricaturist but... 'something' has prompted me to drawing this caricature of bush jr. he's sitting on a shair with his pants down - that's what I got so far... WHAT shall I do with his hands? One hand is kinda resting on the chair - but the other one? Any ideas anyone? need some inspiration.... When it's ready I want to make it into a downloadable desktop background or something... unless somebody's got a better idea Thanks! http://www.i-ll-i.com |

Oli! ((Yeah... THOSE Amiga days... nah... my favorite was Speedball 2! my thumb was achy all the time - I managed to beat the comp to number 1 in the first legue...)) erm.. back to 2003... I finished (off) bush jr. both hands are just resting... besides there are some stains on his undies Also thinking of turning the figure into clipart & uploading it somewhere... istockphoto maybe (IF they want it!) Still, any suggestions are very welcome - I can easily change the drawing... dorian www.i-ll-i.com |

er, maybe I should mention, that it is only his [i:f2806c42d6]trousers[/i:f2806c42d6] that are down! I don't intend this to be vulgar! www.i-ll-i.com |

I think I finished my Bush desktop bg... for now... (loosing my patience as well [color=olive:f52788c926]w-desktop-bg.gif [/color:f52788c926]~90k image in 1280x1024. more sizes to come I have stared myself blind on this... not even sure if it looks like him anymore... (kind of sick of it) I have been trying to make him fit the 'style' that I'm so keen on lately... (cut-out slylised shapes...) Any comments appreciated Dorian ...

That's really good. I would have made his face a little squarer though. I like the ambiguity in the pose - the way in which, although the cartoony camouflage background references the war, you could change it to refer to any cockup Bush is involved in - like if you had the same Bush but with Enron logos in the background. |

I'm glad you asked... I use Canvas 8 (from Deneba Systems) Picked it up once from a magazine cover disk - and it was love at first sight The application is quite a weird one as it does pixel-pushing (photoshop style, kind of) and handles vector drawing/DTP all from one interface! Basically, it's very innovative and intuitive to use! For pixel-pushing I still prefer Photoshop - but vector manipulation is just sooo smooth... I love it! They've done a very good job at Deneba - pity the program is not more popular! It's got few bugs when it comes to exporting - it's not exactly straight forward, but... For vector drawing I can highly recommend it! ...
