Hey people.
I want to make a CV.
I want it to be avaliable on both Acrobat Reader and Microsoft word.
Which program would be best to use to make a my CV?

Well Microsoft Word for starters

For doing PDF's there's Acrobat Writer - about 200 squid though. JAWS I think is a cheaper option, they might even have a free older version now. Probably loads more.

have a look at www.downloads.com for free pdf convertors... there is quite a few of them - some more shitty than others ( :wink ) not sure if the free ones are good with converting graphics though...

www.pdf995.com - free for making PDFs if you put up with the adverts or only $9.95 to get rid of them. It works fine for me!

edit: it shows an advert to you, it doesn't put the advert on your PDF!

why not layout a really nice looking one in illustrator and save out as a pdf?

hmmm...thats asuming you have illustrator

ok i started a layout in illustrator but.
shall i do the whole thing in illustrator (if so how do i add pages?) or should i import it into quark?

wait till illustrator 11 - - that will give multipage as standard and indesign quality pdf production

I've been using InDesign recently, not had any problems at all, pretty good if you ask me. I think I'll be sticking with it for anything I'm doing myself... and so much cheeper than that other Beast!
