Logo inspiration

Im fairly shite at logos, so if anyone has time to knock up a quick logo for me as inspiration I would be very appreciative.
The name is acrecia and its for a new dvd player, so an A incorporated into or something would be cool.
I dont need anything finished , just something to give me an idea.

Cheers guys

Try this "A" page for logotypes.ru (for inspiration, of course):

And another (these crazy russians have 'em all):

http://logo.nino.ru/

[edit] I hate to just point out links to logo sites thinking that will cure all that makes you think you are "shite at logos", but I do think that looking at how others have accomplished good (& bad) logos can help you make yours more effective. I hope the links help.[/edit]

Oli -

Don't know if you still need any inspiration but you might want to check out the "Design A Logo!" article at http://www.pagelab.com . The article is about joined letters, but it might give you some ideas on how to deal with a single letterform.

Best of luck - J.

You see, I'll give it to this guy, He is a great vector graphics, and logo designer Those are nice. But the 'A' looks more like a strange steering wheel.

Cheers.

this forum seems to have quite a few gimps on it..

regardless of whether you think my work is good or not, shouldnt you recognise the fact that im just trying to help oli, he asked for some suggestions/ideas, thats what i gave him

i didnt post the link so people like you could become abusive towards me, what is the point of that?

and one last point, my clients have always been happy with the work i do for them, if they didnt like the logo i create they would say or not pay for them

perhaps you could show me some of your work and then i can see whether you are in the position to criticise others

i just dont like you.

simple as.

you got my goat by coming on here a few days ago and slagging 90% of the comp entries as being "rips". Just because your from liverpool not everyone steals ( ideas or trainers )

Not really the way to introduce yourself to everyone.

i'm just returning the compliment. and yes, I am in position to criticise

thank you. If you wish to carry on and retort feel free but i shall not be replying.

I have wasted enough of my time on you anyway.

the reason i accused the competition entries of being a rip, is suprisingly enough, because they were rips..

ive posted a message in the general forum outlining copyright laws etc, if you bother to read that you will realise that the entries I accuse of being rips, are in fact, rips

as for generalising about where people come, feel free to do so, its a shame you have such a closed mind, perhaps one day you will be able to mature and broaden your horizons

and, send me some of your work if you're so convinced by your superior skills
