I *think* if you did... li { padding-left: 0.3em; } instead of margin-left: 0.3em; (I know you used shorthand) that would be solved. As for the resizing problem, would it help if the banner div was positioned relatively instead of absolutely? That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch.

The lined up lists are no longer lined up in Safari or Opera, the spacing is large in Safari but fine in Opera, The lists still colapse into one column as you shrink the window (can't remember if that was a good or a bad thing). Anyway here's an Opera screenshot... (safari being the same but with larger top spacing like my IE shot). How did you get the highlights all level by the way ??? |

solved. get rid of clear: left; from div links don't know how that'll affect other browsers - on an agency job today so no access to all browsers. Last edited by Brown : 09-07-2003 at 10:00. |

May be we should open a new thread and attach a pole, I know which way my vote would go, the Bastard's causing me all kinds of problems at the moment. Aparently Safari is supposed to take over from IE on Mac, I quite like it so far but I guess I haven't really put it through it's paces fully yet. Using it more though. |

M$ have stopped making IE for the Mac mainly down to the non renewal of contract between the two, hence why Mac produced Safari... Even better is this... Leaked from M$, IE6 SP1 will be the last stand alone IE produced by M$ with any future versions becoming part of their next OS Longhorn!... Suddenly I have the urge to find a new career... JM... Looking good, love the colours. |

Mik - If it's still floating the lists incorrectly, you may be on an older version of ie mac. http://www.macedition.com/cb/ie5macbugs/#floatwidthbug |
