Text Area Html Editor
Is there a HTML editor out there that you could attach to a text area? There are loads of wysiwyg editors out there like TinyMCE, but I can't seem to find any for typing code. I'm talking simple - like syntax highlighting and auto-closing tags. Last edited by b. : Tomorrow at 01:51.

Maybe someone at the Ace Google group could answer. Also, found this post reviewing Ace + 2 other editors: 3 Browser Based Editors to Watch | End of Line |

Thanks belugey, you're a star. Yeah, been attempting to wrap my head around wp plugins - it's doing my head in. But a nice html editor would be cool - if I have the patience to work out how to do it. Last edited by b. : Tomorrow at 01:51.

We've been using code mirror for some time and our users like it. We're always on the lookout for even better solutions and ACE seems great but I'm a little skeptic about the browser support. It appears to be only tested on chrome/firefox SolidShops.com - Hosted Ecommerce Just For Web Designers
