Galleria
Photography Press - Just another State College Web Design | Brambling Design weblog So, as you can see, there are two problems: 1. The main image won't load until you click on something. (I can cheat to fix this by just positioning another instance of the main image behind where the image would load, but I don't want to do that) 2. The thumbnails don't resize, like they're supposed to. (Not a huge problem, I actually kind of like it like this) This is all in wordpress, so I think that might be affecting the script, but there should be some easy workarounds to that, right? |

No. If you read through this thread, it explains how to install it yourself. Issue 68 - galleria - Galleria does not work in Wordpress when using Wordpress core jQuery - Project Hosting on Google Code |

Thanks, I'll take a look at it. I'm thinking I can solve this though, I've got this far, haven't I? The solutions I see are as follows: 1) Make a second loop, putting the first image in the background with an absolute position. 2) Use jQuery to "click" on the first <img> as soon as the page loads, so that it just loads one up like normal. Obviously the second solution is more desirable, but I can't quite figure out how to do it. |

Looks good - I know you didn't ask about a fix for this, but if you want to sort out the vertical alignment on those columns take a look at this link A List Apart: Articles: Multi-Column Layouts Climb Out of the Box |
