For a design company (web, graphics, logos etc.) should the website display the pricing information for each service? I have been showing prices in the past but now I am having second thoughts about it. Any input is appreciated. BTW, if you are 12 or 15 years old then don't bother responding. |

I'm 35 and you shouldn't show your pricing. Quote:
Isn't this a bit vague? Quote:
Personally I only quote per job as every job is different. I am however considering pricing a few simple services on my front page such as Search Engine Submission and Add Your Own Search Engine but these are simple services and easy to quote one price for. |

yeah, hosting is a fixed cost(s) so that's fine, otherwise, quote per job, and don't even tell people what you charge per hour - just give a price for the job plus 10 % added on top, then if they fuss, give em a 10% discount - there can be a lot of variables in pricing up projects anyhow, and the client will always try and take advantage of any information you give them in advance.. oh, and I'm 12. |
