quite a major project is coming my way.. Might have to freelance this work out to somebody but i'd prefer to get it done myself.

I'm not the best when it comes to databases, but what the client wants is sort of an 'Ad-site' where people can post adverts etc, and they will automatically go on the site for all to view...the guy wants control panels so he can monitor and manage the adverts etc.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any nice software that does this...otherwise i'm gonna have 2 freelance it out or try my way but i'm atm i'm just learning so not really wanting to risk it...

any help much apreciated

There seem to be quite a few there. I don't know if they're any better for you though.

bluesteel - did you find a solution for this? got a similar thing going on at the minute...

or if anyone else has a script, (preferably PHP) they can recommend I'd be grateful - far too much choice out there...

phpAdsNew was recommended to me a while back - http://phpadsnew.com

we didn't need it in the end though.

sorry after actually reading the thread I'm not sure if it's what you need - as in a classifieds script.

sorry yeah, it's a classified ads script I'm after, just looking for something relatively simple for my client to administer, that can be plugged into worldpay or something - they don't have the budget for a bespoke system, so as out of the box as possible would be best.
