IE margin doubling error?

It seems Internet Explorer is doubling my margin, everytime I set margin-left: 10 px; . Mozilla is adding a 10 pixel margin, while IE is adding a 20px one. Is this a know error or is it just a quirk that is contingent on the code I currently have in place?

just wondering if this is a known error.
