hiya!

hi there, first post on this forum ! :P
Just though id ask a really noob question, but i would class myself as an intermidiate web designer.... how do i get the 'Fade in, fade out' technique just like they have on the following website to the right of the screen, under affiliates (the graphics)....

Also what does every1 use for there web designing? eg...dreamweaver paintshop or adobe......

If you mean the affiliates on the left, it's javascript (and it doesn't work in firefox).

I wouldn't.

Firefox is a browser.

You'd be better off searching for a similar script - plus tutorial maybe so you'd actually know what you're doing - otherwise it's just thieving.

look at their source - right click - view source (in IE) or click on view - Source...

or search google ayte ^^

Grow up, you asked how you could achieve the effect, and people have made valid suggestions. They have also explained that Firefox is a browser, and that the desired effect does not work in that browser, so you've learnt something along the way.

this forum is great.

anyway. you could have a conventional roll-over but the mouse over image is an animated gif of the fade. might be easier for you.
