anyone any ideas how to set up an sms service where a site administrator can send an sms to all subscribed mobiles from an admin area of a website? i guess there would be a (monthly?) fee involved?

It seems quite a good service.

I was actually looking for the client to receive a SMS from the customer through a web app rather than the other way around but I'm sure it could fit your needs.
