Photo Gallery

Take a look at the source code there. I took bluesage's advice to practice JS by creating a photo gallery. This is the part I'm having trouble with.

In Firefox, when you click on the image, it fades out. In IE, it pauses for a second and disappears.

How can I fix this?

I'm on FF 2 and it didn't fade out for me, just paused, then disappeared.

Hmm. Then everything except FF3 isn't working? Why?
