Too much or too little?

I'm working on the folder below. I'm wondering if it will look a bit too much using an embossing and varnish on the front. Or does the piece look too bland? The colour is Pantone 285. I've convinced them to spend a bit on the folder and use digital printing for their info leaflets as they update them quite often.

It's a little bit empty but that's preferable to the alternative.

I think the emboss is unnecessary, the varnish is enough of a finishing touch.

what about a foil on the bit you plan to emboss?

Looks identical to one I just made for Barclays ..

Matt Lam the whole area, and imo then do your spot UV and then emboss the white logo on the font only and the rear.
