I just need to upload my flash video to my site...

So I have an .flv I got from our Video guys then I took that .flv brought it into Flash added the skin with the play buttons and such and set the size of the board, tested movie in Flash- worked great, then I exported the movie as an .swf, plopped the .swf in Dreamweaver on my .html page and then uploaded everything and it comes up blank. There is nothing showing there where the .swf should be.

Can anyone please help me out today? I have to get this video up and I'm not finding any help on google

I'm a video newbie.

Also just a note this is not for my own private use so I don't want to use someones online flash player or youtube streaming or anything like that. I want the video hosted on my site with my own flash player.

Thanks!

make sure you've also uploaded the .flv file and make sure the paths to all your elements are correct. from my memory i believe that if you use any skins for your player they have to be in the site root.

adobe has some very nice information on flash video here...

Yeah it sounds as if your path is wrong, or you havn't uploaded all the right files such as any scripts etc.

I'd say that is the likely culprit. When putting .swf files into a page with dreamweaver, it automatically creates the 'Scripts' folder, with a script in it. If this isn't uploaded, the .swf won't play.
