Hey folks,

Looking to the great minds of DT to help me on this one.
We are about to move into our swanky new studio (old church conversion) and looking to do a 'we are moving card' and an invite to an opening night party.

Anyone seen any nice examples?

Yeah my invites i made are awesome.

Only joking. Off the top of my head i started thinking about house keys. What about buying some key's and just attaching a tag to it. Like a dummy yale key or something like that. Can't be that expensive going to a key cutters and asking for som edummy keys.

How many invites you sending out?

But, won't any flyer do? I assume since this is your place it's not going to be distributed to the public just people you already know.

Yeah it'll just be the clients/potential clients/friends of the company but we want it to be pretty special. Needs to be something more tactile and with more wow than a leaflet.

Last month I made this invite/info piece for 4 companies who were inviting their best clients to Berlin for an event. 2 colour job, Spot UV for the large Luxembourg inside and relief UV for the Luxembourg on the cover. The feedback I got was quite positive which was nice to hear.

What about mixing something church-y with studio? I once saw this thing saying The Bible of ...erm...I cant remember. You could have 'the bible for all design solutions' or something like that to mix the design aspect and the church. Or like 'may all your prayers be answered at (name of company) lol haha. or you might have to have sunday opening hours :P lol what about a sermon thing they do on Sundays for your opening day but about design.

Thanks for that...sure that idea is somewhere in the sketchbook. Was thinking the 10 commandments of design or something like that. Really want something they can pick up and play/get involved with.
