Hi, I am looking to receive some constructive feedback on my new review website whatswinning.com. Any comments on the design & usability of the site would be extremely appreciated. Thank you very much in advance… Simon |

I like it - it's nice and clean and does what it's meant to do with a minimum of fuss. It is slightly bare in places, but I guess you'll fill those bits with cross-linking, and/or advertising as and when it takes shape. The only thing I might be tempted to do is make the review results colour coded .. so 10% might be red, and 100% might be green. Good job anyway Steve Woods

you also get bonus point for not posting this in the Great Design Section. Overall i seemed to do what it was meant to i just felt it needed a bit more colour. Woodsssss'sssss suggestion would help that i think. If your colours are starting to run, let them all run, run away from you. Flux - Bloc Party

I like it too. It looks tight, professional, and well-organized. It was pretty clear to me what the concept of the site was just by scanning the page, which can be hard to pull off. As far as constructive feedback goes, one issue I had when I first loaded the page was that I didn't immediately pick up on the fact that your left column was the top 10 list. All the other sections of the page have header labels, but not that one. After a while I realized that your logo was also acting as a label for that column, which is cool, but like I say, not obvious to me at first glance. |
