to be honest i have no idea what that is even talking about.

all i have done is uploaded a .zip file that i created using winrar onto the server which is running Red Hat Linux.
using IE7 i can download it with no problems at all, but people seem to be having trouble if they are using another browser like firefox or opera.

can someone please suggest an easy fix or direct me on how i would change the script?

thank you very much for your help!

Is it a rar or a zip? You mentioned rar at first but now say zip. If it's still a rar try creating the archive as a zip instead .. you might have better luck.
