the text is the important part of the page - so visually impaired users are hoping to access the text ... imahges may be switched off anyway - to assist in focusing on the copy .. fuck signatures

Make sure you don't set your body font size in ems as you need a basis for the em. Personally I use 76% for the body which is around 12px and haven't noticed the problems in IE6. |

I'm one of those people with a high res monitor. I'm using my Bravia TV as my monitor, and its across my living room, so I always bump up text sizes by 2 or 3 notches. Images just wouldn't look good if they also resized though. |
