Flash Pull-Down
Hi to everyone! I've made a flash pull down menu which, theoretically, is able to show on top of any html with an inferior z-index value. A working example to make this clear: dreamingsoft.com/123flashmenu/support/q2_sample.htm Now, I can't seem to get that effect. Check out my site, please, and try out the menu to see what I mean, mjskins.googlepages.com/home2.html As you can see, the flash is overlaped by the text layer, and you can't select any option from the pull down menu. However, if I give the flash layer a higher z-index, it comes out well, but then you can't select text, because the layer containing such text is BEHIND the flash... Check this example I've uploaded: mjskins.googlepages.com/home3.html My site loads the flash with the usual <embed> tag, and the example I gave you does it through JavaScript. I did some experiments loading the menu through JavaScript and it worked perfectly on IE, but not on FF... This is the closer I could get through javascript: mjskins.googlepages.com/HomeJavaScriptFlash.html It should work perfectly if you're using IE, but give it a try with FF if you have the chance, plase. You'll notice that the text behind the flash is still ''inactive''... rendering impossble the selection of some parts of the text and, what's more important, the click on any other link in there... Any idea about it? Thanks in advanced =)! |
