Filezilla is available on MAC now too (havent used it though, I'm a WINnner). I would recommend against any html solutions as they are generally slower and less secure. A server is definitely the way to go. I use bluehost - 300 gigs and 3000 gigs of bandwith/month. 100 bucks american for a year, including a domain name if you arent worried about having a domain name through the same company as your server. |

Most people don't realise that on PC the windows explorer acts perfectly well as a simple FTP program. Just open the file browser, type the FTP domain into the address path and off you go. Especially useful for editing permissions on windows-based hosting. Not that that helps you cocknose.... unconsolidated isoparms
