I am finally getting round to creating a site for my dads football team. I am currently creating the profiles for each player and seem to get them to look ok in Firefox but not in IE (shock!) I have been pulling my hair out over the last 2 days and cannot seem to fins the problem. There seems to be an inconsistent amount of padding between the players name and their image. I have validated my CSS/XHTML and it seems to have passed. Here is the URL to the page: Squad Profiles Cheers for any help guys. |

I think your problem may lie with this line: Code:
I've never used it before, but I heard its not a great practice, because it makes stuff go screwy. I would suggest taking that out and downloading a new css-reset list. Maybe someone can post one for you. |

Well i have now added the Yahoo CSS reset list and this doent not seem to fix the problem. i have also removed the * {margin: 0; padding: 0;} from the CSS and it did not seme to have an affect on the page. Does anyone else have any ideas of what the problem could be? Here is the link: Squad Profiles EDIT: FIXED NOW - Thanks for the help Last edited by kwills : 11-01-2008 at 10:46. |
