Quicktime movies
Does anyone know how the "Click Here To Play" screen found on some QT movies is created. The idea being that the movie doesn't load & play straight away, the user has to click to run it. |

Have you checked out the tutorials on the Apple site? http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tools_tips/tutorials/ http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tools...streaming.html Structurally, I think it might simply be a case of having a single-frame movie with a url embedded (see href tracks and flash tracks) that directs the player to the url of the full movie (streamed or otherwise). The actual movie simply replaces the 'click to play' page in the player window. Alt: It might simply be a feature of streamed QT content. |
