splitting up a video

I have a video (.mov) that I need to split into smaller parts. What's the best way to go about this?

I am on a PC, but have access to a Mac.

Nevermind. Fucking bastards don't tell you til it's done that the trial will only convert up to 3 minutes then it just stops. God dammit. Off to the Mac to see if it has iMovie.

You can use the windows movie maker, bundled in windows. Although I dont know for sure that it supports .mov files.

Doubtful. We're going to use Final Cut Pro on the Mac. Sigh, such a pain in the ass.
