has anyone here (those based in the UK) had any experience of working freelance for a US company? I was wondering how you got paid... paypal or cheque? or something else. I think there is a charge at the bank to cash a US cheque ? cheers n |

Ask them to pay by bank transfer or Paypal. "You do not need to be Paypal member to make a one off credit card payment." Times I've typed that. Paypal costs 3.4%. (total x 0.034) Ask if they are paying bank trf that they pay the transfer fees, at least on their side. Your side should be £20 max but check with your bank. |
