Need to know what this site is powered by..

Hi,

I have received an email from a client who wants a site very similar to the following:

firegigs.com

I am not to sure what system is powering this site or even if there is one! I remember seeing a post on here a while back with some links to php systems for uploading and displaying music (sort of mini youtube) but i can't find the post anymore as i think that would be able to create the same feel.

I have never done a site like this before so just looking at for some tips on which way to approach it and what system to use that will also work as a cms after. Oh 1 more thing also........ im on the verge of purchasing wimpy player for some future band websites to play there tracks, has anyone ever used wimpy or can inform me if it's good or bad??

wimpyplayer.com

Thanks in advance!

The site is using PHP.

Regarding players, if you are after a music player, this one is free and very good.
XSPF Web Music Player (Flash) - Plays MP3 on your website

If you are after a video player, you might be better off using something like YouTube and embedding their player into your website.
