portfolio sites ..
Just wanted people's opinnions on their portfolio sites; Is it better to have a personal portfolio or more corporate site with company details etc on there. Also I was wondering where people get most of their clients from - I know word of mouth + contacts is probably most important but do you get many clients through search engines? I am just wondering how important search engine optimisation, link popularity etc is so I can decide how much time to dedicate to this. If you can give me any links to sites that list web designers, portfolio sites that would be handy as well - John. |

I must say... I envy robotics that he can get clients like that It's taken me a long time to come up with a portfolio site... categorisation seemed to be the biggest problem - how many sections... what should they be called... but you can see the result of all that at: www.i-ll-i.com dorian |

Marko, No need to be so hard to yourself m8! Self-criticism is good but... You need to start somewhere! The more stuff you do - the more skilled you will become. Also, I am not sure if it is a good idea to compare yourself to others... you do what you do; and if people are happy that's all that matters! ...
