Hey guys, basically i want to start a website, but one which people can modify some of the pages with their own information. I am told this is called a wiki but i've no idea how to make one or how to use mediawiki or one of these programs. Any help any one could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You could start by searching for 'wiki comparisions' on google. The first two search results (wikimatrix and wikipedia) are very helpful. I can't post links yet otherwise I would have added the links!


I looked into wikis a while ago and remember thinking tikiwiki looked quite good.

Sometimes web hosts have various wikis already installed, so check with your webhost.
