Word > html

What's the easiest - and quickest - way to convert table-based word docs into html pages?

Thanks

you can save out of word as html. i recall that the mark-up is fairly amusing. i'd then open it in the beaver or some other wissywig and copy the tables out from there.

don't use word anymore (cheapskate) so couldn't say for certain.

open office dot org.

...gives a 150kb html file (for 3 tables).

I'm handcoding it now - it'll end up being quicker:

Quote:
<p class=MsoNormal align=center style='text-align:center'><b style='mso-bidi-font-weight:
normal'><span style='font-family:Arial;mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"'><![if !supportEmptyParas]>&nbsp;<![endif]><o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

WTF

nice code, that's the stuff i was on about.

there's a word clean up button in most wissywigs. there also used to be a keystroke in frontpage that removed all formatting from a document (shift + space + return) or summat like that.

properly exists. part of mx-studio still. almost being beaten by topstyle pro but still useful for some things. the search and replace tool is really sweet.
