Using CGI to send out an HTML Newsletter

I am using CGI based SubscribeMe Lite to send out a little newsletter. I can't figure out what I am supposed to do to make the HTML info display correctly. Someone told me i could just paste the code. But when I send it, I just get code, no images. Can someone help me and let me know what would be the proper way to set that up and make it work.

Hi Gigga,

Just wondering, when you add the code to the images, do you insert the full url for the path eg: http://www....../imagename
also, are you sure those images are uploaded onto a server somewhere ?

I can remember having issues with something similar, a bit vague I know, but I think it was to do with putting the doc type in the right place.

I checked the doc type and made sure everything is uploaded and it is. I have just been copying the code and pasting it in the mailing program. My friend said thats what he did awhile back and it worked fine as a test. Now I can't get it to work (or contact him). So I need to figure out how to send HTML images/text in this newsletter. Someone has to know how to do this.
