Client wants a paired down version...confused?
I just finished this design concept for a homepage. And today my clients asked for a "paired down version" of the homepage as a template for the other pages like the FAQ and the about pages. I am not sure exactly what they mean, what would you do? oh and here is the homepage http://test.projectdesigns.org/concept11.4.jpg Thanks |

I think he means "pared" down. He means simplified, so get rid of the screen-grabs from the top, the dotted decorations around the Overview and Features words and use a sans serif typeface (preferably the same one) for ALL the text. Trebuchet is fashionable. There's also no reason why you should have curved beveled lumps as a background for the lower two paragraphs. Human eyes find their way to text without that sort of shit. Pare, pare, pare! My free fonts www.utfi.net

I think Steveb hit the nail on the head. Pared down would be a simplified 'template' for the other pages of the site. On a totally different note, just finished a concept for a site that looks remarkable similar in format. Sub's site concept All in good trend whore tradition!
