macbook bits
i'm not quite sure, but i think the dregs of a holsten pils has killed my macbook. everything works, except the screen... plus i've heard the sugar from any liquid could corrode the logicboard. i salvaged the ram and the hard-drive, so i'm wondering if there's anyway to buy a macbook WITHOUT the ram and HD (besides ebay), which would save me a hella lotta money. thanks |

you can get bits for Macbooks - but you'll more than likely pay the price of a Macbook-Pro diagnosing the fault/faults, buying the parts in and getting them fitted. PC's are more fixable... generally. Last edited by Do Gooder : 20-06-2007 at 06:51. |

edited! I have always prefered mac operating system... don't get me wong i got PC's too. just macs tend to go tits up less and require less tweaking to keep them happy. I find it funny that people think of macs as toys... far from it in my experience. they are serious well made tools for the creative business... and for filling up your ipod... ahm . |
